Podcasting using Audacity
Podcasting has many uses from interviews with external resources, distance learning, improve listening skills to self-paced learning. This can be done with the free tool Audacity.
With Audacity, you can add sound to animations, create podcasts or mix music. This free audio editing software has a whole host of uses, by itself or used with other software. You can record, import and edit audio files, and in this workshop we will show you how to get to grips with the basics. In this session, you will learn how to use the Audacity interface to create a podcast. We will look at where to find on-line sound resources and at copyright. Once the podcast is complete we will see how to upload it to a simple website making it available to anyone on the internet.
After the workshop delegates will have the opportunity to stay on line for a Q&A /help session if required.
